Pivot Tables - Strings For Metrics

Oracle BI Publisher does not allow strings to be metrics in the Pivot Table. We need to implement an RTF template and write the XSLT code in that.

Have you ever come across Pivot Tables ? If you are implementing this by using layout editor, then you may face some problem with respect to the page width. If the pivot table has more columns, some of the columns may be cut while watching it in HTML view. The best solution for this problem is to have the pivot table, outside the layout component in the layout editor. This will solve your problem.
